Born and raised in the States, Rajnarind Kaur has traveled extensively both personally and professionally.
With a double major in Economics and Psychology concentrating in Finance, Rajnarind continues to have an amazing professional career. Upon graduating, she joined J.P. Morgan’s prestigious management development program and began her career in the Investment Bank, focusing on Equity Derivatives. Internal consulting offered her the opportunity to begin her project management journey along with wonderful mentors and supporting managers. Rajnarind challenged herself further and graduated with an Executive MBA focusing on Strategy, Leadership and Finance from Stern Business School at New York University. She worked at Credit Suisse, returned to JPMorganChase and just left Deutsche Bank. She is a now a Vice President at Prudential Financial where she leads the Global Audit Professional Development team training internal auditors on specific methodology, focused course topics and internal governance and frameworks.
Rajnarind keeps herself quite busy outside of work as well. She is the voice behind the recently released documentary, ‘Walking into the Unknown’ and ‘Bani Pro1’ and ‘Bani Pro2’, CDs to help those who are desirous of learning the correct pronunciation of Gurbani and to whom Punjabi is not their native language. She was provided the amazing opportunity to teach Punjabi at Columbia University as an adjunct professor. Another project she runs is the ever popular GurSikh Speed Meeting, where she formalises a meeting process for individuals to meet one-on-one and face-to-face. Rajnarind is also involved in a variety of different aspects from teaching music, counseling children and parents, speaking at different forums to marketing items and coordinating large scale meetings, events and conferences.
Rajnarind also volunteers her time to teach youth and adults in the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program and The Art of Speaking. She offers her time critiquing resumes and mock interviewing.
Rajnarind Kaur is married to JangPartap Singh and they have 3 sons, Kabir Singh, Ishar Singh and Gurdaas Singh.
